With the advent of an aging society with a declining birthrate and changes in the environment surrounding health and medical care, there is a need for comprehensive medical care that consistently considers everything from prevention to health management. In order to respond to such social demands the Department of Health Sciences aims to cultivate professionals with a wide range of qualities, from a strong sense of ethics, scientific knowledge and skills, to the ability to calmly and accurately make comprehensive judgments in health and medical care.
